Dear Families,
The
Art Gala is tonight! What a wonderful
thing to be able to see their artwork displayed as it would be in gallery. I hope to see you all this evening. This week flew by as we worked on all the
projects we have going on in the classroom.
We welcomed a new friend to the classroom as well. The children finished up their iMovies. They are very excited to show them to you and
to the kindergarten class that they created the movies for. Over the next couple of weeks, we will
continue our units on geometry, community and opinion writing. We will also work on end of the year
assessments.
In
your child’s folder is a permission slip for our field trip to Flandreau
Planetarium and Science center. Please
fill out and send back as soon as you have it complete.
Our
next Author celebration is on May 17th at 5 pm. We will meet in the art room because were
very crowded last time and I want to make sure everyone can see the screen when
we show the iMovies the children made and share the last 3 books we published
that evening. I hope everyone is able to
make it back to school that evening to see what the children accomplished.
